Julian started to produce one year ago simply because he wanted to transform his ideas into music and to develop a new & original sound.
He can define his personal style that blends underground sounds nearby to old skool sonorities with most glamorous elements of old-style house.

In April 2010 he release his first hit track "Satisfaction" on Diynamic Music which the home of an impressive roster including Ost & Kjex,Solomun,David August, Uner & Coyu to mention a few the tune was a overnight success which was played and charted by many great artists even getting to number 7 in the beatport House Chart.

Sebastian Lutz’s good mood is one of his natural traits and has never ceased to infect his surrounding, which is a great bonus of having him behind the decks.

His fine sense for the audience is noted wherever he plays with his great and open presence behind the decks always sending positive vibes throughout the club. But also his productions on Do Easy Records and BCB Techno have made him very popular amongst his DJ colleagues, with big supporters being Carl Craig, Dubfire, Karotte and Laurent Garnier.

His release "Kachina" on Bouq Records was pretty much a summer hit and the remix of his track "I´m Tellin U" was picked by Sven Väth for his "Sound Of The 10th Season" compilation.

It's been only a few years that tINI is playing in clubs, but she is already considered as one of Germany's most wanted newcomers. Her involvement with rhythms and beats started at the age of 7 when tINI, who is originally from Munich, began playing drums, hich finally led her to first production attempts on her brother´s Atari

tINI's DJ adventures started with new romantics, later with grunge and underground hip hop up to rap. Firstly it was an experiment with hip hop and big beat, which brought her to first trials at the turntables. As her interest, knowledge and skills developed, her DJ style became more electronic when she stumbled upon Moodymann's "Amerika".
In summer 2003 tINI started playing frequently in clubs and events in and around Munich. 2004 she began touring through Europe, which led to her own nights and residencies -"tINI all night long"- at the Garden Club in Munich from 2005 until 2007.

As tINI and Loco Dice happened to meet several times, while performing at the same spots, her musical qualities were noticed and so she joined the Artist Alife and Desolat Family in 2008. This was a booster for her career as more and more clubs became aware of her talent. She took this chance and finally became a constant part of the worldwide Desolat Nights.

tINI, who is known for her curly hair and her powerful, vivid temper, knows intuitionally how to enchant the crowd whether during the warm-up or the main time.

Deeply. Percussively. Impulsively.

Nico has had impressive release's on imprints such as Strictly Chosen and Resopal Schallware, but what really brought everyone's attention to him is his recent "Just Want House Music EP" on none other than 8bit Records. His impeccable House grooves have earned him major support from all his most important peers including DJ Sneak and Loco Dice, as well as top 10 placements in the Beatport charts.

Nico Lahs is certainly hot property at the moment, and is one to definitely keep you eyes on this year.

Hailing from Italy, DJ/Producer Giuseppe Cennamo delivers our next installment in the Koala podcast series.

In 2009 Giuseppe blew up onto the scene with huge impact. A constant string of releases on labels such as 8bit, Leftroom, Minisketch and Monique Musique got his music played by some of the biggest and most respected DJ's. The track that sticks out the most from this was "El Gitano" on Monique Speciale. "El Gitano" was played endlessly by the likes of Luciano, Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos, and to each time great effect. His music loved so much by Luciano and Loco Dice it has sat pretty at the top of their charts!

Into 2010 Giuseppe continues to impress with the start up of his own imprint Carillon Records, which features 3 tracks by himself for it's debut release. From this release the track "Break My Carillon" is receiving huge support from the likes of Marco Carola, and was also awarded "House Tune of The Month" in February's edition of Mixmag. We wait with anticipation for what else Giuseppe has to deliver...

Giuesppe Cennamo is playing at Koala on the 30th April 2010, at the Welly Club in Hull (UK). As this podcast proves, it's going to be a night not to be missed!

As part of the Desolat family along with Loco Dice, Martin Buttrich, Livio & Roby, Tini and Guti, we are very pleased to be receiving this exclusive DJ mix for Koala from none other than Yaya.

Some notorious electronic music talents have started their careers as percussionists. And so did Yaya, but his tale is different to all the rest. Raised in Turin, Italy, rhythm was his lifeblood for Yassin Ligali, also known as Yaya, from an early age. His father was the lead vocalist and percussionist for M’Bamina, a band consisting of musicians from Benin, Zaire, Italy and Cameroon. M’Bamina released eight albums, collaborated with artists like Manu Dibango and Salif Keita, were sponsored by Paco Rabanne and played all over Africa, including a show for the presidents of Senegal and France. Their final show was with James Brown in Paris in 1985 - the year Yaya was born. Well-versed in his father’s legacy, Yaya grew up playing drums and djembe, and at the age of 15, began performing as a percussionist in Turin clubs. Just one year later, he was already DJing, playing funk, soul, afrobeat, house and garage. Manu Dibango and Fela Kuti found a spot in his crate next to records by Masters at Work and Dimitri from Paris: contrasts of rhythm and structure that pervade his music to this very day.
